Located in the north of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Açu is a young port focused on sustainable growth. Operating since 2014, it already has 22 companies and 11 private terminals. Único porto totalmente privado do Brasil, o Açu é resultado de investimentos totais de 20 bilhões de reais, com previsão de investimentos de mais 22 bilhões de reais nos próximos 10 anos.
O empreendimento portuário industrial foi construído sobre os pilares de Eficiência e ESG & Inovação. Em operação desde 2014, já possui o terceiro maior terminal privado de minério de ferro do Brasil, é responsável por 30% da exportação de óleo do país, está construindo o maior parque termelétrico da América Latina e abriga a maior base de apoio offshore do mundo.
